It is your year to read the entire Bible all the way through. I can’t think of a better resolution to make this New Year. I have a simple plan to read the Bible through in as little as 15 minutes, five days a week. This new guide is made for busy moms, corporate executives and everyone in between.
Two Reasons Why This Plan Works:
1. There are two key reasons the plan I developed works. The first is that it is a five day a week schedule that can be completed in 10-15 minutes each day. I have attempted to read the Bible through many times. All of my unsuccessful attempts were seven day a week programs. For example, when you have a sick child, work events or life just happens, you will miss a day of reading. It is easy to get behind and then give up due to overwhelm. I’ve done it many times, my friend. The additional weekend time built into this new plan is the key to success. If you get behind, weekend makeup days allow you to catch up before the following Monday begins. Hooray for a five day a week reading schedule.
2. There is another reason this plan is easy to follow. It reads the bible cover to cover, without time consuming scripture look up. Yes, I just admitted that, and I’m sorry. Some other programs schedule reading out of three books of the Bible at each setting. For instance, jumping from the old testament to the new and back to Psalms or Proverbs was hard to manage. I am embarrassed to admit that as a busy mom, one more scripture look-up was a deal breaker for me. I love the simplicity and ease of the cover to cover one year Bible reading plan.
Why should you read the Bible this year:
Of course, we all want to live a healthy, joyful and intentional life. It’s so easy to focus on our external image and jump on the new workout plan or clean eating program. Not that those things are bad, but filling your soul with God’s word will give you lasting and eternal results. Because it realigns your priorities, your purpose in life becomes crystal clear.
We all have different reasons to start a one year Bible reading plan. For instance, whether you are searching for truth, researching a friend’s religion, winning a competitive bet or simply wanting to know what your parent’s religion is all about, this plan is for you. God’s word is fascinating. There is a gem on every page. Yes, even in some of the long old testament genealogy lists. This is not about religion, but a relationship with your creator. The Bible is God’s living word and the most popular book in history. Don’t miss out on what it has to say. It will touch your soul.
This plan is different and it works. In addition, it also comes with tips to help you be successful. I am thrilled that I get to share it with you. Blessings to you as you study God’s word. May you experience his love, grace and wisdom this next year!
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
